World economies at the mercy of the sea
There seems to be news about the damaged undersea cables coming out almost every day, the unofficial count is now set at five cables that have been cut or damaged, but it would also that it is only affecting one particular region, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Pakistan and India.
Now it could look like a planned attack, there is talk about it being Israel and the USA in an attempt to cut off the likes of Iran, but they have said that there internet it working fine.
Apart from all of the conspiracies and there are always going to be some, the real problem which could damage business as these cables are used to transfer money all around the world, and the Middle East is a very wealth area and so should this trend continue with more and more cables being damaged then this could have some serious long term effects on the world economy.
