Want to try out Microsoft’s new toys?

To compete with Google’s Webmaster Central we reported a while back that Microsoft intended to do something similar, well Microsoft Webmaster Portal is now going into the beta test mode and they are offering an opportunity to webmasters who would like to be beta testers.

Microsoft Webmaster Portal will initially be offering, spider, submission and site map applications, which will help a website with MSN Live search seo requirements, which is virtually the same as what Google is doing at the moment.

There will be no guarantee of acceptance but all an interested webmaster needs to do, is simply send an email to iswmp@microsoft.com you never know you may be one of the lucky ones that get chosen, although as with many of these beta tests, it would not be that long before it is opened up for all.

It will be great to see how this differs from Google’s tools, and if it actually makes any difference for the webmasters sites.
