Apple store give figures

Apple are looking at a tremendous figure for the iPhone, not only is it selling faster than it can be made, but they are also packing in a huge amount of applications for the device too.

The number of iPhone applications available for users to download and buy is currently estimated to be around a thousand, which when you think about it, is simply huge.

However, when these figures are actually compared to the amount of devices sold, the figures are showing that virtually every single iPhone that has been made has actually been sold. That means that there are almost ten million iPhones out there.

So the hunt is on for the person who actually buys the ten millionth iPhone, would there be a big media show to celebrate?
