Firefox increases market share

Despite a long wait, users of the Firefox browser made a great effort to get Mozilla into the record books for having the most downloads in one day, which they did although there was not a record in the first place, but an excellent piece of marketing there is no doubt to that.

In fact on the official download day Firefox actually secured one per cent of the browser market, which is a pretty bold thing to have done.

Microsoft’s domination is still intact at around seventy four per cent of the market. But the real star of the Browser market at the moment is no doubt Firefox they have grabbed a massive nineteen per cent of the browser market at the moment. Whether they will be able to capitalise on this is anyone guess.
