Find a pool near you with Google

There is a new craze going at the moment which involves the use of Google Earth and various social networking sites. What happens is by using Google Earth to search certain areas these revellers are looking for homes that have a pool, which is easily spotted on Google!

Once a suitable location has been found then its up to the social networking sites to get the word around and arrange to meet up for a bit of “Dipping” in many cases people have been woken up in the middle of the night by the dipping or have come home from work or shopping only to fine their pool and garden full of empty beer cans.

The rules are simple, sometimes it may be fancy dress, but essentially the requirement is beer and a bike, clearly the beer is to drink, but the bike is to make a quick getaway if the owners return unexpectedly. There are worries that this could become a national problem, where groups are more organised. Thanks to Google Earth!
