Firefox downloads pledges reach 1 million

This is your chance to get in on a world record attempt (Although there is no record to break!) all that you have to do is download the much awaited and hyped Firefox 3 and that is it, you have become part of a world record and yes it will be recorded in the famous Guinness Book of World Records, we think!

At present the Spread Firefox site are collecting pledges from people who will say that they will be downloading the browser on the yet to be specified Firefox 3 Download Day. This figure has already reached one million and is still rising.

Although it has to be said that pledges from the UK are only running at about 40,000! Pledging is simple there is a large red button where you can pledge that you will be downloading the browser on the special Download Day, whenever that is going to be.
