Microsoft to pay users to search

Microsoft have been trying for some time to capture the search market, but have failed even their proposed take over of Yahoo failed, leaving them to rethink the whole situation.

Now they are launching “Live Search Cash back” the idea being that both advertisers and users will be able to get cash back savings on their online purchases.

This site is for searching as you would with any other search site, except in this case any products that are found and then purchased will be discounted from the stores who participating in any of the promotions.

Clearly users wishing to make use of this services will be required to sign up, however this will also require the Microsoft Windows Live ID, email address, and phone number too!
