Microsoft gives up on Yahoo
The software giant Microsoft raises their offer for Yahoo by five billion dollars, but it is still rejected as Yahoo feel that this is far too low. So what now for the plan of attack?
Well as in any great business battle the predator has to know when it is a good time to stop and take stock of the situation, and it would seem that this is exactly what Microsoft has done. The as it stands is now off, or is it?
But it may not be the money that is the stumbling block on this deal, there are fears that even if this latest offer was taken by Yahoo, the could have been blocked by the regulators anyhow. It would seem that Microsoft’s attempts to build or even buy an online business is not going to happen, despite the company spending billions of dollars on the process.
