Businesses, families and blogging don’t mix
Being a manager within a large business has its perks, you get to know about all of the company operations such as takeovers and other major business decisions. But if you let you family know about the business deals and one of your children happens to like blogging, then you could be heading for serious trouble.
This happened to an AT&T executive who while in the middle of a takeover, his son was blogging about the takeover and the reasons why takeovers and mergers do not help the customers. This sort of information could harm the two businesses involved and in some circumstance kill the deal altogether resulting in loses etc.
What sort of steps can be taken in the situation?
