Is Google slipping?

Could the unthinkable really be happening? Well if you listen to some people then you would be forgiven if you believed them, after all most people always love the underdog to come up trumps, rather the big guy.

This has come about because of the data that has been from comScore, this gives and accurate measure of what is going on within the search industry. In January Googles market share of worldwide internet searches was standing at 63.1 per cent, but in February this has fallen to 62.8 per cent.

These figures are low and do not really mean that Google is about to collapse but it is significant enough to make people take notice about this and from now on there will be many eyes looking at how Google is performing. Naturally there could be one factor that nobody has looked at, February is a shorter month, but that should affect all search engines.
