Web development using Firefox

For some people the choice between using Firefox and Windows is down to a matter of choice and preference but as with Apple and other PC’s there has become this allegiance to one or the other and in some case users are missing out on some really great benefits through no other reason than those made above.

If we look at Firefox, you will hear people say that they would never touch it, but are they really in possession of all the facts? This is why there is list of tools that web developers could use below:

Change XHTML on-the-fly without changing your web files.

Measure things quickly with the Ruler Tool.

See how web pages look on a non-traditional web browser.

Find out how optimized your page is.

Populate web form fields instantly.

Find all the CSS styles that affect an element.

View JavaScript and CSS source code in a jiffy.

See how web pages are layered.

See if your web page looks OK in different screen sizes.

Hopefully this will encourage users to look at what is in front of them and decide on merit rather than preference.
